We received a warm welcome at Benton Hall where we played for the first time. It proved to be a very good course and apart from 10 minutes of persistent rain, where some went in after 4 holes, Â 8 of us still completed the 18 holes.
Considering the rain we had had; the course was in excellent condition and the back nine proved to be a lot tougher than the front nine.
We welcomed 5 guests playing with us, David Fosters 2 brothers, James Amass carer Rob Cole and James’s friend Rob Kilgour as well as Neil Bairds guest James Cox.
Coming in in 3rd place on 26 points was Jane White. In 2nd on 32 points was Andrew Steward and our winner Coming in first with 36 points was Neil Baird.
