Disabled Golf Week
In a bold move to spotlight the remarkable abilities of our members, we launched Disabled Golf Week nationwide. The action-packed week kicked off with the prestigious Northern Open at Whitefield GC, designated as an Order of Merit Event (OOM). We then extended the celebration with engaging taster sessions at Anstry GC in Coventry, Calverly GC in Leeds, Southport Golf Academy, Redlibbets GC in Kent, and wrapped it up with a grand finale at our Annual Charity Day held at Oulton Hall in Leeds.
A massive shout-out to our 2023 Trustee Neil Patrick & Dan Atkins for orchestrating Disabled Golf Week across these diverse venues. A special thanks also to Dan Atkins from Dan Atkins Golf, whose media coverage in Golf magazine brought the spotlight on this inaugural week. Along with Phil Alan and Glenn Jackson who worked closely with Neil Patrick & Dan Atkins for an exceptional Charity Day experience.
