Bondhay Crowns A New Peter Colson Champion

Round 2 of the Order Of Merit with the first Major of the year – Peter Colson Trophy at Bondhay, Worksop. With an over cast chilly start to the day, the temperature soon started to rise, with some players completing the round in short sleeves.

As always, Bondhay GC is an extremely challenging course with conditions good for this time of the year. Our winner with an impressive round was Dale Banks with a score of 37pts, pictured left with Jackie Colson receiving the prestigious trophy. After a brutal last hole in 2nd place with 34pts is Anthony Roberts and in 3rd was last season Order of Merit runner up, our chairman Neil Baird with 33pts.

I’d like to thank Jackie Colson for her continued support of the DGA in memory of Peter Colson as we play this challenging course.
