College Pines Crowns A New Champion

The 2024 Golf Carts Europe Order Of Merit season kicked off with a bang at College Pines, amidst the chilly yet sunny backdrop of the imposing pines trees in Worksop. Fourteen eager players took to the course, adding to the buzz of excitement.

In a thrilling display of skill, Owen Robinson clinched the top spot with an impressive 38 points (pictured left), closely followed by Anthony Roberts in 2nd place with 36 points. Making his DGA debut, Barry Wearing secured an admirable 34 points to round up the top three from a closely placed top ten (pictured below).

A huge shoutout goes to the ground staff at College Pines for impeccably maintaining the course despite the early season challenges. And let’s not forget the catering team, whose hospitality kept us fueled throughout the day.

But the excitement doesn’t end there! Mark your calendars for our upcoming Indoor Event at Wimbledon’s Golf Groove on March 12th, followed by the highly anticipated First Major of the year, the Peter Colson Trophy at Bondhay, Worksop, on March 19th. It’s shaping up to be an unforgettable season already!
