The DGA is pleased to announce our participation in a historic four nations cup competition this summer.
Representing England the DGA team will compete with players from Scotland, Wales and the USA in August at the prestigious Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel and Golf Complex. The competition for the Phoenix Cup is a three day showpiece for pan-disability golfers in the image of the Ryder Cup/Solheim Cup.
Selection for Team England will be the top 10 qualifiers in our Order of Merit table by the end of July with the remainder of the 14 member team being by way of England Captain John Riordan’s captain’s picks.
John states “I am honoured and extremely proud to be retained as England Captain this year and looking forward enthusiastically as the host nation for this wonderful tournament at such a highly regarded and rated golfing venue. Hopefully we will have some great turnouts at our Order of Merit events to get in the top 10 between now and the cut of date for qualifying at the end of July”.
