We would like to thank all the staff at Styrrup Hall for their warm and cordial welcome again attending to our needs they have done over the many visits we have made. However, the forecast was breezy with rain which was not the case, and the rain held off adding to a tremendous day.
In true Styrrup fashion, the fairways were in excellent condition and just starting to run, the greens although recently top-dressed were running surprisingly fast this all added to the toughness of the course, and not shocked to see only moderate scores on the day.
In 3rd place with a steady workman-like round of 31pts Colin Cameron. In 2nd place with a valiant effort of 32pts Jane White who but for testing the first hole would have posted an impressive scorecard, and taking the bull by the horns with
an excellent 33pts congratulations to our winner Dale Banks.
We would also like to give a big thank you to the catering staff for their efforts with the meal and also for taking care of our vegetarian contingent.
