Springwater Honours a Green Jacket Winner

Marjorie Colson Trophy – Springwater

This was our second attempt at the well-established Marjorie Colson trophy after the first was cancelled due to the terrible weather this year. We were at a new venue for the event after many years just up the road at Ramsdale and today did the sun shine on us, it was to be a glorious summer’s day, and the event was again well represented coming from all corners of the DGA.

The course was in excellent condition with super greens, this course has always played tough, and today was no exception reflected in the scoring 3rd place went to Andrew Steward with 31pts 2nd place was grabbed by Brian White with 32pts and this year’s winner of the Marjorie Colson memorial trophy on what was an excellent score of 39pts Ian Slowther congratulations.
