Charlie leads the way
Bank Holiday Monday, on the coast at one of our favourite venues Cams Hall, what more we ask for! The forecast was for another rainy day but fortunately it stayed dry.
As normal for Cams, club members, led by the Ladies captain Sharon Lawson, played with some of
our members. The course and greens were fantas#c condi#on as always. A new member Chris Hall also joined us, he is keen to come again, thanks Charlie for looking after
him.
Winning his first event of this season was Charlie White with 35 points, we manged not to drop the trophy this time, it was in the safe hands of Sharon. In second place keeping his position in the OOM top five, was Alan Baker with 34 points. In 3rd place was Shaun Thompson with 33 points.
A big thank you to Men’s captain Dave Wallace who did a lot of organising for us in the background but was unable to make it on the day.
Our thanks also go Rachelle and Milly for ensuring the day went smoothly.
