Announcing DGA Ambassadors #TeamEccles
We are delighted to announce dynamic father and son duo Pete and Lewis Eccles as Ambassadors for the Disabled Golf Association. Pete can tell you what he’s been up to during the year himself -
“This year we have pushed and had Lewis and disabled golf rules accepted into The Faldo series worldwide, The Yorkshire County Boys Championship, Royal Birkdale Junior Open, TGS Junior Golf tour, European Junior Golf Tour and Halifax & Huddersfield Golf Union Junior team selection for Yorkshire inter district trophy playing 4 of 6 matches.” Pete Eccles, August 2016
As we can’t think of a more pleasant man to champion this process we would like to recognise Pete’s efforts and his contribution to all that is disabled golf. It’s been difficult for Lewis to get to many of our events this season as he is still in full time education and he’s focused on preparation for playing at an elite level, but we are all absolutely delighted to see his progress over the last few years.
